Why This Tour Will Spoil You Forever
This isn't just a ride to a pretty town (though Villa de Leyva is drop-dead gorgeous). It's two days of pure adventure: colonial streets that may very well be older than your country, a scenic cave waterfall, and backroads so beautiful you'll understand why Colombia is becoming the adventure riding world's best-kept secret.
Day 1: The "Holy Crap, This Place is Real" Day
Bogotá → Villa de Leyva • 5.5 hours of riding • 239km
We'll escape Bogotá's chaos and cruise northeast through winding backroads that'll remind you why you started riding in the first place. Rolling green mountains, curves that flow like poetry, and a scenic snack stop in Guatavita (because adventure riding requires proper fuel).
Then comes the good stuff: A BBQ lunch at our favorite local spot, followed by a scenic off-road ride to a cave waterfall. Easy-going dirt trails and gentle mountain crossings perfect for beginner to intermediate riders, ending at a refreshing swimming spot.
Evening mission: Explore Latin America's second-largest colonial plaza (it's massive and magnificent), then dinner at a high-end food court where you can go from arepas to sushi in about 20 steps.
Sleep: Historic town center in shared rooms
Day 2: The "Different Route Home" Masterpiece
Villa de Leyva → Bogotá • 6 hours of riding • 191km
Here's where we get creative with the route home. Instead of retracing our steps like amateurs, we're taking the completely different route back – winding through terrain that showcases Colombia's incredible diversity.
What you're in for: 40% unpaved tracks that are totally manageable for beginner/intermediate riders, small Andean villages that time forgot, forested ridgelines, deep valleys, and the kind of authentic Colombian backcountry experience that'll have you planning your next trip before you even get home.

Fair Warning About Accommodations
We keep tours affordable by using shared rooms and dorms. Think of it as built-in friend-making. Private room upgrades are available if you need your space—just ask!
Fair Warning About Colombian Reality
All riding times and distances are approximate because, well, this is Colombia. Sometimes we cruise faster than expected, sometimes we stop every five minutes for photos because the views are too incredible to pass up. And yes, occasionally Mother Nature decides to redecorate the roads with a landslide, which means we get bonus adventure via creative detours. It's all part of the authentic Colombian motorcycle experience – and honestly, some of our best stories come from the days that didn't go exactly as planned.
