When "All-Inclusive" Means Off-road Motorcycle Riding, Bungee Jumping, Paragliding, AND Cave Rappelling
8 days of pure adrenaline • 30+ hours of riding • 941km through Colombia's wildest regions • 50% paved, 50% dirt • From $2,000 USD
What happens when you combine bungee jumping over a roaring river, paragliding above Colombia's Grand Canyon, rappelling 475 feet into the earth, mystical forests that look like movie sets, and roads so remote you'll question if GPS even works? You get eight days that'll redefine what you think adventure touring can be.
This Is The Adventure You've Been Looking For
We're not talking about a motorcycle tour with some activities thrown in. This is a full-throttle adventure expedition that happens to use motorcycles to get between the crazy stuff. Bungee jumping, paragliding, cave rappelling, mystical forest hiking, and swimming holes that require actual off-road skills to reach – all connected by some of Colombia's most spectacular and remote riding.
Day 1: Colonial Warm-Up
Bogotá → Villa de Leyva • 5.5 hours • 239km of scenic preparation
We start with the familiar – scenic backroads to Villa de Leyva, complete with Guatavita snack stop and those addictive Andean curves. BBQ lunch, then a 1.5-hour off-road adventure to a cave and forest waterfall – consider this your gentle introduction to eight days of increasingly intense experiences.
Evening: Dinner at one of Salento’s best restaurants and time to explore the plaza in one of Latin America's most beautiful cobblestone squares. Enjoy civilization while you can.
Day 2: Welcome to Adventure Capital
Villa de Leyva → San Gil • 4 hours 15 minutes • 176km of smooth anticipation
Today we leave colonial charm behind and head into Santander – Colombia's most rugged and adventurous region. Smooth, scenic mountain roads lead us to San Gil, officially known as Colombia's adventure capital.
Time to prove it: 70-meter bungee jump over the roaring Suárez River. Because nothing says "I'm serious about adventure" like jumping over a river before dinner.
Tonight: Dinner in town then off to a hostel near the main square – hammocks, hot showers, and the kind of traveler vibe that makes you want to quit your day job.
Day 3: Colombia's Grand Canyon (From Above and Below)
San Gil → Chicamocha Canyon Loop → San Gil • 3 hours 20 minutes • 98km of pure scenic insanity
Often called the tour highlight – and once you experience it, you'll understand why. We're heading into Chicamocha Canyon, Colombia's answer to the Grand Canyon and one of the largest in the world. Tight switchbacks, sweeping views, and terrain that constantly shifts between paved and dirt.
Going airborne: Paragliding over the canyon (weather permitting) – floating above this massive natural wonder while questioning how this is actually your life right now.
Descending into the Canyon: Drop into the canyon on fully unpaved roads to the tiny town, Jordán, then visit a rarely seen waterfall that flows directly into the canyon. Perfect for taking a dip and processing the fact that you just flew over this place.
Day 4: Most Beautiful Town + Natural Rock Slides
San Gil → Guadalupe • 3 hours 45 minutes • 118km (30% dirt adventure)
Coffee stop in Barichara – often called "the most beautiful town in Colombia" with cobblestone streets and whitewashed buildings that look like a movie set. Then we leave pavement behind for off-road mountain riding through rolling hills and remote terrain.
Afternoon highlight: Las Gachas – wild natural rock pools with smooth red stone, bubbling water, and slide-like channels carved over centuries. One of Colombia's most spectacular (and still lesser known) swimming spots.
Day 5: Entering Another Dimension
Guadalupe → Bosques de Pandora • 4 hours • 139km of mystical approach
Fun ride, massive mind-bender. Today we hike into Bosque de Pandora – a 1.5-hour journey through dense, mossy forest with hanging vines, narrow jungle passages, and rock formations that belong in a fantasy film. It genuinely feels like walking through a dream where someone mixed Avatar with Indiana Jones.
Tonight: Rustic ecohotel in a private tent, falling asleep to the sounds of nature.
Day 6: Descending Into the Earth's Core
El Peñón exploration • 1 hour of riding, maximum underground adventure
Today you rappel 145 meters (475 feet) into Caverna La Tronera – a thrilling descent into a cavern at the heart of the forest. This isn't just adventure tourism; it's one of Colombia's most unique outdoor experiences, period.
Afternoon bonus: Cueva del Oro (Cave of Gold) – massive caverns with golden walls and mineral formations that look like someone's secret treasure vault.
Evening: El Peñón town with locals, drinks, tejo or friendly games of bolirana. The kind of authentic Colombian experience that makes you understand why you're doing this.
Day 7: Into the Absolute Wild
El Peñón → Florián • 4-5 hours • 74km of pure remote adventure
Today we head completely off the beaten path on 95% unpaved roads through mountains and valleys that feel utterly untouched. You'll barely see another vehicle – just open terrain, big views, and the sound of your engine echoing through hills that most Colombians have never seen.
Destination: Ventanas de Tisquizoque – a surreal cave carved into a cliff where a river shoots out and drops nearly 300 meters in waterfalls. If conditions allow, we'll hike to Charco Azul, a hidden swimming hole at the bottom.
Tonight: Hillside cabins with waterfall views. No signal, no distractions, just mountain air and stars.
Day 8: The Epic Finale
Florián → Bogotá • 6 hours • 218km (90% unpaved victory lap)
The grand finale is a long, rugged ride back to civilization through rolling highlands and remote countryside. The only way out of this region is off-road, so we're earning every kilometer back to pavement.
Final peaceful moment: Lunch at Laguna de Fúquene – a quiet lake surrounded by farmland, perfect for processing eight days of adventure before returning to Bogotá's organized chaos.
Victory celebration: Cold beer at Loco Moto office because you've officially conquered Colombia's wildest adventure tour.

Fair Warning About Accommodations
This tour takes you through some really remote regions of Colombia – and that's what makes it special. A few places we stay are very basic because we're literally in the middle of nowhere. Private room upgrades are available wherever possible, but sometimes "rustic" is part of the authentic experience.

We keep tours affordable by using shared rooms and dorms. Think of it as built-in friend-making. Private room upgrades are available if you need your space—just ask!
Fair Warning About Colombian Reality
All riding times and distances are approximate because, well, this is Colombia. Sometimes we cruise faster than expected, sometimes we stop every five minutes for photos because the views are too incredible to pass up. And yes, occasionally Mother Nature decides to redecorate the roads with a landslide, which means we get bonus adventure via creative detours. It's all part of the authentic Colombian motorcycle experience – and honestly, some of our best stories come from the days that didn't go exactly as planned.
